VISIONINJA recently did the photography for the re-branding of the Flightsite website and Facebook app/game.
Flightsite has recently re-positioned themselves around the slogan "WELCOME TO MORE FLY".
As photographer my challenge was to bring this positioning to life, in a digital environment, in a way that is personable, approachable and warm in character. The desired look and feel had to be something that could be owned by Flightsite and function as a golden thread.
By bringing the logo unit to life through photography we were able to create a real world feel and a connection with the viewer, which is very valuable in the digital media landscape. Making this brand stand out in this cluttered environment and making it consistent and recognisable.
The photographic look and feel became the golden thread across all other brand elements. A wooden background became the holding devise across all elements and was used to create a personalised feel.
The success of this campaign is evidence that doing original photography can be a very cost-effective and time-efficient way for brands to establish an online presence, allowing a better return on investment.
